This is my first MEAN stack project!  I've been in love with Javascript since 2004 when my friend Josh sent me an invite to gmail.  I noticed that gmail would pull in new emails and I didn't think it was possible to get data from the server without refreshing the entire page.  I started googling and finally found AJAX.  Once I understood AJAX I realized that the browser was basically the next application platform.  It was eye opening to say the least.

I got a lot of flack from my friends who where more into backend languages, but I kept learning.  Once REST API's became popular, and things like React and Angular where released, it was not only possible to create a single page application, but relative easy (once you get over the learning curve that is.)

This contact manager is my first full MEAN stack SPA.  It was a learning experience for me, so be nice.  You can see the code on my github account.  You can see it in action here.  If you don't want to bother creating an account yourself, use my login: tolley/password.  I used bootstrap to make it responsive so try it out on your phone too!
